I accidentily went to http://www.noepets.com/.

It looks like the proper site, but its not quite right. Is it legit? Should I change my password?

I think I remember saying that TNT had bought all domain names like that to avoid scams. What was the URL or the login page? You could have just been directed to neopets.com.
EDIT: Yeah it seems to redirect you to the right login page

Yep they bought a bunch of domain names that were close to "neopets" in the first couple years. It runs off an older script, but re-directs you to the official neopets site if you click anything Don't worry, it's not a scam!

I was going to Neopets last night and accidently typed in neopest.com. And then for the rest of the day on accident I kept typing neopest.

It's just like when Something Awful does "Fake SA". No matter what you click on at noepets.com's page, it'll just send you over to neopets.com. It's actually a good idea--transposing a letter in a URL and then not going to the right place makes me feel like a right idiot.

For me, it just does a 404. Maybe Neopets had control of that site back in the day, during the appropriate plot, but they have since relinquished control of it?
