Should Neopets Have a Leafy Paint Brush?

Tue Jul 04, 2006 7:55 am

I was just thinking, there's no paint brush for nature lovers. The Island Paint Brush is beautiful, and often incorporates leaves, but it would be nice if there were a brush that makes pets leafy all over.

The Leafy Paint Brush could be inspired by Earth Faerie items. For example, a Pencil of the Earth Faerie is wooden with leaves coming out, and the Earth Faerie Notepad is in the shape of four leaves.

Similarly, a "Leafy" Pteri might be brown with leaves for wings, and twigs for legs.

So, what do you think? Should I bother sending a feedback form to TNT?

Hey, that's a neat idea! We have colors corresponding to most of the other Faeries
Air - Faerie
Water - Maraquan
Dark - Darigan, Halloween
Fire - Fire
Snow - Snow, Christmas
Island - Island, Lutari
Grey - Grey
Queen - Royal
Soup - all the food colors
Space - Starry, Robot, Alien

The only colors I can think of for Earth Faeries are Tyrannian, Green and Brown, but they don't match very well. The Light, Negg and Battle Faeries don't really have good matches either.

As for sending a suggestion or feedback, ah well, it doesn't hurt to try. You might even get a reply saying thank you and have you tried the Help board..

You know, I never noticed that all the other faeries have corresponding paint brushes! I decided to go ahead and send them a feedback form. Who knows. Maybe they'll get a chance to read it out of all the millions that they receive. I haven't posted at the Help board yet because I don't want to get spammed. (even though there are nice people at the neoboards, there are also some spammers)

That does sound like it would be a good PB color. 0:)

Sure, why not? The more paintbrushes, the more colors. The more colors, the more variety in pets.

Maybe I should start a little petition or something on one of my pet pages. Even if it never comes to anything, there's no harm trying.

I'd say your best chance is to look around the site (THIS site, PPT) for a (really) good artist, and ask them to do some concept drawings, make sure they're good, and then take those to TNT. I think that would come across a lot more convincing than just knocking on TNT's door and saying 'Hey, I want a Leafy Paint Brush'. Just my two cents.

Do you mean email it to them or send it to their postal address? Do you know which one would have a better response?

Look around HERE or HERE and ask people. You're sure to find someone to help.

I picked yes; it's a great idea.

"Leafy pet" reminds me of a snow yurble (they have autumn leaves!). They look so cute <3
