What's the largest circle that can be drawn on the board such that the entire circumference of the circle is only touching grey?

i don't know what they want on this one. i have seen this riddle before and for these numbers you get something you need to round, for area, for radius, circumference. The only this that is an integer is the number of grey squares the circle passes through. Why did TNT lenny dude drop the ball on this one?

My visualization of the image may be wrong, but there is no explanation of whether they want radius, diameter (which I am assuming), area or circumference. So I took an assumption, such as the solution is exact (probably a big hint here) and which of the possible descriptions they want. However, I bet that in a couple of days, they will clarify the question. Too bad I won't have internet access in a few days.

I'm putting circumference, radius, # squares, and area in my answer. They're only looking for particular numbers anyway, right? Extra "words" shouldn't disqualify me. And even if they do... meh.

Edit: I figured out how to do it. This is how I had to submit the dang answer to keep it under 50 characters:

I'm not sure whether LC wants the radius, circumference, diameter, or area of the circle. But I found a nifty webpage that has formulas for calculating the radius of a circle if you know the chord and apothem...

I didn't even put the radius. And all of mine were rounded to the ones place because that's all that would fit. Stupid 50 characters limit. I hate it when TNT messes up and doesn't make up for it.

This appears to be a trick question. For the circle only to be touching grey squares would be pretty impossible.
