For those who won, what combination did you use?

For Hagan, just "enemies". It gets me a book quite often. Once even two books (and neopoints IIRC) for an A+.
I haven't been successful yet with the Skarl classic "What do you do if fierce Peophins has eaten too much tin of olives? You offering them a tin of what what what!". The Moody avatar is pretty easy to get, as he usually doesn't like the jokes you tell him much.

Nope, enimies didn't work. Anyone else?

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. As far as I know it's pretty much random as to what is going to work. I've had success with 'the' one day, and then got nothing using the same thing the next day.

I don't think there's really any secret. At both kings' castle, I try to structure the joke/wisdom so it makes at least some kind of sense. Grammatical, if nothing else. But that doesn't guarantee anything, I'd say I've had about a 50/50 success rate doing that. You'd probably have just as much luck using a single word. (Two, in Skarl's case.)

The wise king awnser is "a wise friend once told me that wisdom is like the heart of a skieth.

Sorry to double post, but for king Scarl, Ask him the question Arrogant, and answer with YOU. Leave everything else blank. It really works.

It is totally random. You don't have to make sense or anything.

Further proof that the joke can be absolute nonsense:
Q: When isn't you stop an cloud Deaver with a need from Princess Vyssa?
A: By sporting her a copy of The Art of Eyrie Baragas!
Well looky there... You got a chuckle out of him.
King Skarl Says:
*heh* That was a pretty good joke. I give it a 605 out of 1000.
Here, have a little something from my kitchen. I hope you like it.
King Skarl hands you:
Raw Potato
And I used "a wise friend once told me that wisdom is like the heart of a skieth" for the other king, only to get... nada.
