Okay, what's up with the Quiggle Squeeze Toy?

Is it suddenly useful for an avatar or something? It was happily selling for
1500-200NP for months now, and suddenly this morning, it's around 10,000NP! Is there some logical explanation?

Edit: Does it have a new battledome use? Is it being used as currency in a third world country? An hour and a half after my last post, it's now up to 14,000.

The last avatar was quiggle related. People may have bought them trying to find how to unlock the avatar (it was a clickable) so .... prices most likely will plummet if it's related to such.
