What's an avvy?

I don't know what an avvy is and everyone keeps talking about them.

On here it's the little pic under my name and on neopets it's an even smaller pic under everybodies name on the neoboards

Its short for "avatar" ^_^

If you're talking about Neopets avvies...
Go there to change your avatar on Neopets (assuming you are logged in):
http://www.neopets.com/neoboards/preferences.phtml
If you go there, at the top you can see Avatar and the option to Choose a new av
You can choose one that you like from the drop down menu then click the Submit tab at the bottom of the page once you've decided.
Now when you chat on the neopet boards, you will have the avatar! And you can put your username in the search neopets bar and your current avatar will show!
And yes, avvy is short for avatar. You will also see some people refer to them as av or avvie or something similar to that
