Get to level 50 for Berserk for a start, then raise your attack up to at least the 85 boost and your defence to the 55 boost.
Finally, you'll want to raise you HP to somewhere over the 150 - 175 mark.
Weapons wise, purchase a Scroll of Freezing.
If you don't freeze them in the first round, withdraw and try again till you do.
Good Luck

There are some good tactics in
this thread that have helped a lot of people successfully beat the Meerca Henchmen. Good luck!

No. Withdrawals in one-player don't show up anywhere. It's only in two-player that you (can) get penalized for withdrawing.

That could be a tie.

It is indeed a tie. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about here.

Have a screenshot of my log:
I withdrew while fighting the space faerie many times because she was kinda tough for me at the time, and I was trying to pull off a double freeze (freeze in round 1 with diamond dust and then use freezing potion in round 2), and it only works about 1/6 of the time. And yet it only shows 4 plays total in the first column, 1 win in the next column and 2 losses in the third. The "missing" number is the time I tied her.
If you look at your challenger selection page, the numbers are right:
