User lookup coding

Sun May 28, 2006 1:00 am

I have three unis on my user lookup page - faerie, darigan and royal (girl). The default 80by80 lookup images face right for faerie and darigan but left for the royal (girl). Is there any way of flipping the royal girl uni image so that they all face the same way?

I know this sounds really pernickety - it's just really annoying me! My darigan uni looks left out!

If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly welcomed!

Thank you in advance! :)

I think with a bit of coding you can cover up the original image with a flipped version but no "on-site" way of doing it.

You would have to flip it in a photo editor and upload it to a photpbucket account or something. :)

Thank you to you both for replying.

I know you can use code to flip all the images on the lookup but am not sure how to restrict it to just one.

I can flip the image and upload it but am not sure how to code it to load over the original Neopets image (especially considering alignment in different browsers).

Coding suggestions are very greatly welcomed! 0:)

This is where it gets sticky. You can use coding to align the image right over your other one, but keep in mind some people use different broswers/toolbars/font sizes, which is going to impact where the image shows up. For example, someone with a very small text size may see that image just above where the actual picture of your Royal Uni is, which is going to make it look a bit messy.

I don't really have any suggestions, just thought I'd point this out.

Thanks Ziggy - that's the dilemma I'm having now. An absolute location causes conflict between firefox and explore.

I think it's just going to be a case of experimenting now...

Thank you to you all for your help. 0:)
