Important Question

Fri May 26, 2006 1:35 am

My account is about 4 years old, I have a bunch of items and things on there, but sadly I have forgotten the password...I forgot it about 3 years ago...I had to move about that time so we didn't have the internet. After we got all moved in, AT&T changed their email-thing and so it wasn't attbi.com (i believe it was) anymore...So, I couldn't log in and get the password recovery from neo pets. After that I had a lot of school work to do so I wasn't on the internet much, I now can go on the internet on a daily basis. So I emailed neo pets and tried to get the password back for my account, I told them the whole story and I never got any reply...It has been months since i sent in the email and I still haven't gotten any reply...I couldn't fill out that report fully because it had been so long since i had been on the account that i couldn't remember a lot...Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to get my account back?

Honestly, I wouldn't get my hopes up. While I completely believe your story is 100% legit, there are people out there who would be willing to lie about this thing to get even the slightest advantage. I hate to say it, but you may never get your account back, unless you somehow miraculously remember the password. Good luck though!

I know, I figured they would think I am lying...So I've been trying to remember my password for months...
Thank you for posting ^^

Sorry to hear it :( You can

1) Fill out the neopet form a second time. Be polite and include as much 'non-puplic' information about the account as you can.

2) Make a list of all your known passwords. Try them up to three times a day until you get it right.

Niether might be sucessful, but no harm in trying. Next account (or this acount when youg et access again) make sure to sign up with a free on-line email account that you can never lose. One where even if they shut it down to inactivity, you can log in to turn it back on.

This unfortunetly something like that happened to me as well with my first account.
I don't know how to go about getting it back. It's not the items in it I'm worried about, I hate the tought of my poor pet starving to death.
I'm weird like that.
In the end I made a new account, and I have everything written down, as well as a free e-mail address for it.

This type of stuff is why I have a master list (in my head) of passwords I use. I only use like 7 different ones, of varying security, so if I "forget" it's not hard to crack my own account.
