Is anyone else having the same problem?

Thu May 11, 2006 9:05 am

Recently, I've started restocking because I'm not earning NP at a fast rate. Unfortunately, even though my connection isn't that slow, whenever I refresh I see the banner ad at the top, with the Neopets bar, and nothing else. Only after about 5 seconds do I see anything else on the page. Is anyone else having the same problem? What causes it? And what can I do to resolve it?

Yep I get the same problem alot.. im not a restocker but it is still annoying when im trying to navigate the website, espically since im doing my pack rat avvie, trying to get thro the cheap items list as fast as possible cos its a lot to get through and its a pain having to wait fora stupid screen to load,

mite be a neopets problem as ur nto alone in this one!

If you have Firefox, you could try installing the AdBlock extension. I have it, and it works well, but I whitelisted (disabled it) for the entire Neopets website, so the free food (ex: Islandberry Crunch) things would work currently (Adblock considers it an ad). Or, maybe you could send a report to TNT stating that some of the ads keep the page from loading quickly.

I'm using an older verson of Adblock with my up-to-date Firefox, and it works just fine on the free foods, but still blocks the ads. Just set it up to not automaticly block what it conciders ads, and set your own filters, and it works fine.
