Lever of Doom

I've pulled the lever repeatedly for about 5000np and not got the avi yet.
Is there a trick to it?
Can I refresh on the page where it steals the 100np and get the avi?

Yes, you can refresh. But it will deduct 100np per refresh. Still much easier.

I've spent around 150k on it today, and still not got it, so i'm giving up for now.

Still hoping someone will be able to lend me a FQD, Icy Snowflake or Meowclops for 5 mins so I can get those avis

Avatars are pretty much the reason I earn Neopoints...

Really, what else am I going to spend them on? I don't battle my pets, and I'm pretty happy with the colour/species of my pets. So collecting avatars is a fun way of having a reason to save up.
Of course, I am saving up for a spotted paint brush for my koi... spotted koi are just gorgeous

As far as the Lever of Doom? I've lost count as to how much money I've spent on it. I'm just pretty convinced it hates me (like most of the random avatars).

I play it once or twice a day and that's it.
