What is your opinion on the new BC rule? I would like to see what people think about it and if they are in any thoughts about it. I'm just curious. If you dont know what i'm talking about here is where this poll comes from:
Are we allowed to enter the Beauty Contest on a side account? ~ This is a rather weird question but I'm just wondering... Lets say a BCer got gold right? Then that means they can't enter the BC the next time? But can they enter on a side account with one of those Neopets? I would think not, but... you guys suprise me sometimes. So, can you? - Sock Master Coco ~ coco_dog_92
No, ma'am. This is not allowed. You may only enter contests with a Neopoint or item prize from your main account.

I don't get it at all - can anyone explain it

basically, now BCers are now NOT allowed to enter their side account pets into the contest even though they are different pictures. TNT says that, that is cheating since you can only make np on one account. Mainly a lot of major BCers are mad of this.

I suppose that I agree with it. You're not allowed to do much on side accounts anyway. You can't do dailies, can't play games, etc. The beauty contest gives prizes and trophies. To earn those things on a side account would be unfair to everyone else, whether they participate in the beauty contest or not.

I'm not happy with this rule at all.
I made my side account specifically for my BC pets, so all of my REs would go to my battle pets on my main account. If the rule were "you can only enter pets from one account," and not necessarily your main, I'd be a bit more tolerant of it, because then you wouldn't be earning stuff on multiple accounts.

I do not agree with it at all
And I don't even do the BC!
Firstly this is something they have previously always said WAS allowed. Secondly it's always been the case that you were allowed to enter things like the AG, BC, pet/user lookups and petpages etc from side accounts regardless of the fact you can win a prize and/or trophy.
And thirdly it just stinks that you can now only enter your four main pets when many people get great joy out of drawing all their pets (or have spent a LOT of neopoints on their side account pets for the very reason of entering them in things like the BC).

I agree with the rule.
Firstly, no one is supposed to be making NP on secondary accounts (except for through shops on guild accounts).
Secondly, although some people do enjoy drawing all thier pets it doesn't mean they HAVE to enter them. It's perfectly fine for the artist to showcase thier work on a petpage without trying to win something for it.
Thirdly, it gives other players a chance to win instead of the same people all the time and the BC is not even close to being about talent. I can't tell you how many times my work has lost to scribbles and copy-paste entries that spammed for votes or got guild support. The BC is a popularity contest in most context and if some one can't enter again for a while because they've won a trophy on thier main account it's hardly fair for them to go around saying "Hey, since I'm so popular will you all vote for my entry on my other account?" to get more trophies and neopoints.

Don't throw rotten tomatoes, but I agree with the rule. We're not allowed to enter any other contests on side accounts, so why should the BC be any different?
It actually bothered me that people could enter on sides. Not because there's more competition (I'm not that good at art and hardly ever enter the BC), but because if you win or place you do get np/a trophy and if high enough a rare item. So that's earning on a side account.
Fair is fair. If you can't enter anything else on a side, why should you be able to enter the BC on a side? If you enjoy making artwork involving your pets, you can always try entering the AG.
