New scammer

here's the e-mail to watch out for: mailto:ashaun69@yahoo.co.uk i wanted more info to really nail this jerk, and my account was pillaged in the process. ALL my petpets, bottled faeries, doubloons, codestones, neggs and 20k Nps are gone. he left me with 4k total. i really hope enough people report this cretin.

grrrr.... and all i wanted to know was how he did it.

I'm not sure why you were tempted to try and catch/trick this scammer. I would have just quietly reported him and moved on.

I'm sorry you lost everything, though. Did he guess/find your PIN number, or did you not use one?

not sure entirely why. maybe 'cause i wanted to find the program/s they're using. they guessed my pin- they must have too much time on their hands. it sucks that i have to start all over again. maybe i'll go through my SDB and sell some things and continue on Packrat later. i'm one of those people who hates seeing others scammed and wants to be able to nail the scammers at the source. sometimes i don't know when to back down....X_X this time it cost me.

What was the method of scam that s/he was using? I mean, were they offering to neosit, or getting people to go to a fake login page, or what?

That will help in case they use a different address... help prevent them being able to scam anyone else!
