One more time. MINI PLOT and NO WAR.

======== Links of interest =========
Last Thread: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25284
Altador: http://www.neopets.com/altador/index.phtml?

(Note: Make sure you click CONTINUE (if applicable) when you have completed each part!)
========= The Beginning ============
1. Click the big castle in the center of the map, The Hall of Heroes
2. In the very back-right corner, you'll see a familiar character. Click him!
3. Hey! It's our old friend again. Looks like he has a new job-- Janitor. Click that button that's next to him.
---> Hm, nothing happened.
4. Oh well, Now click the Altadorian Archives, then go into the doorway on the right.
5. Click the book that is under one of the table legs and balancing it.
---> Hm, we're going to have to replace it...
6. Now go to the QUARRY. And find a rock that'll be suitable. Stumped? Here.
---> Aha! A good replacement for that book...
7. Go back to the Altadorian Archives and click that same book again.
---> We can access the book now! (Located near the top-right part of the scene)
8. You can read the prologue from that book now.
---> Advance a page by clicking the top-right of the book, go back by clicking the top-left.
*** Page 1~3 Acquired! *** (out of 53 pages)
9. Go back to the Janitor in The Hall of Heroes and talk to him.
---> Hmm. We're going to need something to help oil some gears...
10. Click each statue until you find a bottle of oil & a rag.
---> Note: Location is different for each person. Perhaps you should write where you found it, just in case. (Although evidence indicates that it is NOT relevant)
11. Once you've found it, go back to the Janitor and click the button again.
---> The ceiling opens up! Let there be LIGHT!

======= We see the light =======
1. So it looks like the Astronomy club is finally advertising. Go to the Altador Archives and click the pamphlet that shows a telescope. Or click here!
---> You've recieved a telescope!
2. Go back to the Hall of Heroes and go up the staircase on the left side. Click the telescope holder.
---> It fits! You've found the cinderella! ... Actually I guess you found the slipper... oh whatever.
3. Now for the work. Get to it! Start mapping. By the way, Everyone's star formation is different from another. We can help with details, but you're going to have to interpret on your own from now on!
---> Excellent star mapper courtesy of DarkFire here. Follow the instructions on her post.
---> If you want to map your coordinates yourself in Excel, AngelFoxBlue wrote some pretty clear instructions on doing that here.

===== Constellations: Found! ======
1. THE SLEEPER
--> a. Go to The TOMB (bottom-left corner of the main Altador Map)
On the door of the tomb, the black dots are clickable. Try clicking it.
It lights up
--> b. Go to the Wise Lenny in The Altadorian Archives.
--> c. Go to the observatory and look in your telescope.
--> d. Find the exact formation found in part a (the orientation is as seen on the tomb doors) and you will have found your first constellation!
--> e. After you have found it, go back to the Lenny at the Altadorian Archives.
*** Page 4~7 Acquired! ***
--> f. Go to the Hall of Heros and click on the DARK FAERIE (the one towards the bottom) and look up. The jewels are illuminated! (And the janitor complains of the light)
--> g. Check in with the Astronomy Club and see what they have to say about your discovery.

======= Enlightenment =========
All right, so here are the current points of interest.
* On the left side of The Hall of Heroes, there is now a staircase leading up to a dome-shaped room. Looks like a telescope is missing.
* If you click each statue in The Hall of Heroes, on the very top pixels /section of the picture of the statue, you can look up, and get some arrangement of gems. The following are the same for EVERYONE, here is the breakdown:
- 20 above King Altador
- 22 above Jerdana
- 22 above Siyana
- 22 above Kelland
- 19 above Florin
- 18 above Torakor
- 19 above Darkest faerie
- 22 above marak
- 16 above fauna
- 20 above Psellia
- 17 above Gordos
- 19 above Sasha
--> As well as a helpful compilation of the pictures by soymimi here
========================================
Any additions/corrections should be posted here.

I hope the scoring for this plot will be the same as the last one. It's nice to have list showing each step in the puzzle and which steps you completed.

A pretty little trophy would be nice too....

Assuming that there will be trophies, I wounder if they have been uploaded to the image server yet.....

Oh, that was a mistake when I moved the parchment. It's a part of the constellation that was copied along with the parchment. My mistake. I've only highlighted the six stars and it still won't send, no matter how many times I try or refresh my telescope.

I did the same thing and had the same problem, the solution, I discovered, is that you have to use the connector-pen tool to make the double lines. It wont know it's a constellation until then. :D

Hmmmm...

All I can think is it just looks exactly like the sleepers constilation, but isn't it. xD Its an accident. Keep looking and see if you can find anything else that matches.

This is your newest map, yes? You have clicked the dots and talked to the archivest?

I've been using the connecting pen though, yet it still doesn't take. I'll try again though. Do I have to go through that entire process, or can I just load up my telescope now?

Tue Mar 28, 2006 5:49 am

Haha! I knew it! I said that the constellations were probably the ones from the TCG, not the jewels. I also figured out, but did not say, that the constellation had to be either the Sleeper or Dancer, since only they had 6 stars (Wave looks like 6, but is actually 7). Granted, I probably didn't contribute much, if anything to finding this out, but I was right about something for once, go me!

Yes, it's my newest map. I've clicked the dots, talked to the archivist and searched the whole of the rest of my map for anything that might work. Nothing else matches in the slightest.

I found what I thought was my constellation on the star mapper, but one of the stars is off the boundry of the telescope... I can't actually see it to click on it. Is this not my constellation or am I just out of luck? :(

I have a theory

Tue Mar 28, 2006 5:54 am

The next constellation that we will be looking for is (clockwise) Torakor, the Gladiator, and that we will have to click in the Coliseum to activate the four star constellation. 8)

Wow, I get online today and have my first constellation in a few minutes! Thanks for all the work guys, and thanks for gettign the buggy server and bad IE link straightened out Cranberry, jeeze they should put you on the payroll.

I made a screenshot of my constellation via the telescope, to show how it easily fits into the telescope viewer. The image doesn't appear til after you submit it though.

Mine was also relatively close to the center of the sky (0,0)

Weird. Oo;

Since your not getting anywhere trying to get the current constilation to take, I'd reccomend you check over your map agian. With mine it was hard to spot because there was an extra start between two of the other stars, but I skipped connecting that one and it worked fine. If you really can't find anything else, try agian later. :/

I looked over it again, and still nothing else. (looking on star mapper)There's one that might resemble it, but it doesn't appear to, judging by the fact that one side is larger than the other. I also can't seem to find it by telescope.

EDIT: Never mind! I found her, finally! Thanks for the help!

Thanks for posting that Kess. I found my own (real constellation lol) after about 3 seconds of looking at your picture.
