That's what happens when the ignorant tries to scam... or was he being scammed.... ahh I know I'll neomail newbies and tell them I'm the Happiness Faerie and they have 5 min to get me a umm... something.

Catching scammers or potential scammers is a very good thing. But I remember when we couldn't even type PPT on the boards. I wasn't sure we could now.
I report quietly, when I do report something. I don't post Reported. And I never "play" with the scammer, no neomail, nothing. Just report and move on.

I've done it a few times now, and my 4 year old account's still intact. It's just to make people feel bad and not to do it again.

I don't understand why everyone is reporting this kid for scamming. 
Spamming, perhaps, but... all he asked for was a "link" to this paint brush. He wasn't asking for information or sending people to a corrupt web site. Granted, the scenerio he's describing doesn't exist, but maybe he's being scammed himself? Unless something else developed since I last checked that thread.

I took it as the Neoboards were being a bit extreme reporting the girl. She didn't say, "Please send me a paintbrush," she just said, "Please send me a link to a faerie paintbrush." Although it does seem odd to me that someone with an account of only one month would be able to afford a faerie paintbrush in order to do a "quest". I didn't believe her but it really didn't seem to be a well-thought out scam that actually was worth reporting.
I also don't see how the Happiness Faerie is so funny. Seems kitchsy to me. Hah.

Well, you know how some people do quests, then a kind person will send them the item for free or something... that's what it sounded like they were doing. Especially since they went along with the Happiness Faerie thing. XD;

PPT could stand for practically anything. It could be "Pretty Peophin Trainers" for all they know. It wouldn't be a justified grounds for freezing if someone posted PPT.

Not everyone on PPT is laughing at this person. Considering our past issues with the neoboards (which I am SURE everyone knows about), I do not know why you would post that on the neoboards. Thats hardly the image we want our forums to have, and in the future, I think it would be best if you did not decide to represent PPT on the neoboards in such a manner.
Ontop of this, it's barely a scam and certainly no worse then what a lot of new players post on the boards. I don't feel in any case, that it's allright to post and mock anyone openly no matter how "pwned" they are. This is clearly a rule on our forum, be it non PPT member or PPT member, we do not allow this. You must realise that PPT is a site with open access to everyone. How would you feel if you were a new member on PPT and you found a thread mocking you?
