Dear PPT,
A few days ago my Mom finally purchased another computer, eliminating the sharing problem with my personal one. We're currently hooked up on DSL that's on a network, routed to each of our computers, so we're basicly sharing the same connection. The problem is, my Mom signed up with her own Neopets account since she could not get on mine to play her favourite games (pyramids etc) without receiving my password. At first I thought it was a good idea, but I started to think back later when she asked what things were safe and not safe to do.
Are there any particular things we should not do to avoid getting us frozen? Will TNT know the accounts are owned by seperate users?. Better yet, is it safe for me to get on her computer with my account?. Unfortunately because the new computer is.. well.. new.. It's a whole lot faster for me to do activities such as restock and surf the web. And I have plenty of free time to do it when she's at work or doing things around the house.
I even thought about asking her to just play on my account, but that might look funny if she ever decides to get on the same time I'm on my computer. Say she's playing pyramids at the exact same time I'm restocking- wouldn't that be suspicious?.
Because I'm finally starting to come back after a month's break or two I want to get my account together. It's time for painting pets and spending some of the money I hoarded over the time!.

As long as your accounts have different names, and different email addresses, then you're probably just fine.

Dusket, in addition to each of you having your own email that you sign up with, the birthdays, things like that .. you could also do what I did when my roommate decided she wanted to get her own Neo account (one computer here, so we have to share that) - I wrote to support giving them the account names, the emails, just basic information and letting them know that there were 2 people using the computer. I got a really nice reply which is saved ... somewhere.
Don't bother putting anything on your lookup -- TNT's said they don't even look at that.

Honestly, I don't think neo really gives a hoot. I know plenty of people that login on the same comp a bunch of times, for the past few years that I've played, and neo's never said anything to them.

Just do what I used to do when my sister and plenty of my friends played Neopets. Post something along the lines of 'To the Neopets Team : Multiple people in my family log into this computer from the same computer, we are not one person, we are seperate people, please don't freeze us. Thanks!' I did that, and it worked as far as I'm concerned. I think that TNT understands that in a lot of families Neopets is popular so they probably realize that multiple people sign in from one computer, so they tend to be more lenient, from my understanding they also have the information to tell if where your logging in is at a public place .. or something. Just what I heard.

Also, make sure there is no item-exchange between the accounts, and don't buy from each others shops. I had a group of friends who all went to one of the friends house, and played neopets. They exchanged items, played games, etc-all of the accounts got frozen. X_x Nasty, very nasty. I wouldn't reccomend logging onto your moms computer either, just to be safe.
