I think they look old and male. o_0 I guess it's a good thing they look male, since not many usuls do.

Odd, I was definitly thinking young -- pehaps the hair is kind of grey *peers*
Frankly I don't tend to see any of the neopets (with exceptions such as royal) as gendered. And this ursul is no exception.
