I think if you change tha language it will work but this is due to the name of your pet. I don't know exactly ho many, but according to the number of letters in your pets name, a petpet with a certain amount of letters in it, in this case 5, can't be attached to it.

Its the same with pets and food / books / toys etc. If they have the same number of letters, they don't like it

Very interesting! Thanks!

...so if they says it's a stupid book and don't want to read it, it has nothing to do with them really not liking it, but the lettering? I could switch my languare to another and my pet would read it?

BTW, is this considered cheating? the same thing can be done with the palm fan and the "garlic" avatar i recall...

Yes you could. And I think at one point they said it was cheating, but I'm not sure theres anyway they can check.
But, for the Garlic'd avie, why not just feed it to another pet?

hmmm...So now i'm tempted to try this, but as you said, it's considering cheating, but again, how can they now? even so, i'm sure they have implemented ways into the system to check if people are doing quick language changes, and freeze them accordingly for cheating. So i'm doubtful i'll try it, out of paranoia...

I've done it several times, and never been frozen. There's no possible way they could catch you, and I doubt they'd care anyway.
