Desperate Help needed. Password related.

Sun Feb 19, 2006 5:50 pm

Alright about a month ago when I got cookie-grabbed I changed my password really fast and the cg didn't get me.

I didn't go on Neo for a while so I completly forgot my password. I thought everything would be okay and I would go on everyday so I wouldn't get logged out. But then yesterday I stupidly deleted my cookies and files and I got logged out.
I can't send the password to the email address I used when I signed up, because it wasn't my email, and I used my aunts. My aunt no longer has cumputer access, so she can't go on to her email. I called her this morning and asked her for her email password so I could find my neo password, but she wouldn't give it to me.

Now what do I do? Is there any way to contact TNT and explain my situation? Would I somehow get my password? I would hate to lose my account since it has the labray, neopoints, and avatars that took me forever to get.

Please let me know if theres any way to fix this!

Thanks!

You'll need to supply specific information about you account so they can verify that you are really the owner of the account.

Thank you! I hope it works.
The only thing is that I don't know much about my account. I usually just go on Neo to chat on my guild and on Neoboards. I never check my neofriends, stocks or inventory.

You mentioned the labray, nps and avatars, so tell TNT about those specifics. Your last few avvies earned or the last few lab zap results would probably help.

Labray changes are pretty easily trackable from "outside" the account. Anyway, I think its a good time to invite your aunt for a visit and give her access to your pc or something... you know the password is in her inbox for sure? if yes, then do your best to try and reach it. It's not unreachable, it's your aunt's mail.

Another option, less favorable, is to try and remember what exactly was the password you entered. Maybe it'll come up to your mind one bright day, it happens sometimes.

My aunt just moved *states* away. I doubt she'll visit anytime soon. :(

If it's a concern, use the auto send password and call your aunt to check her e-mail and send you the password. Or e-mail her. It would be infinately easier than going through the hades that is password recovery, trust me...

Yeah, I'm sure your aunt can get computer access at a library or Internet cafe or something. It would only take her a few minutes to forward your password e-mail to you.

What were you doing using someone else's e-mail account, anyway?

I used her email a long time ago when she lived with us. I didn't have one of my own, so I just used hers.
