Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 154). You have won 1649 NP!
Because you were in the first 250 to guess correctly, you also have been awarded a Virtupets Megacon Helmet, and receive a trophy and the Lenny Conundrum avatar!
Yours Sincerely,
The Neopets Team!
Lenny Conundrum
3xCHAMPION!!!
The answer was 722 meters/second, (actually 721.something, but rounded up its 722)
This is gotten by using the formula GMm/r^2 = Facc (angular)
G (gravity constant) M(mass of neopia) m mass of space station r distance of space station to neopia's center of mass.
Facc = mv^2/r. So GMm/r^2 = mv^2/r. The m's cancel out, so you dont need the mass of the space station. Then, rearranging terms, you get v = (Gm/r)^0.5.
M can be found by taking the volume of neopia (4/3)*pi*(1.5d)^3 and multiplying by the density.

Suppose you had a life-size map of Neopia, made of paper. The thickness of the paper is 0.1 millimetres.
Now, suppose you fold it in half. Then you fold it in half again, and again, and again. In all, you fold it in half 40 times.
How thick would the folded paper be? Please give your answer in metres, round to the nearest metre, and exclude any punctuation or extra information.

I'm not sure what to submit - there is a mathematical answer and a logical answer. I didn't really know how to word the logical answer so I just submitted the mathematical one.

The digits of my answer added to a multiple of 11. Someone tell me if I'm right?

I got a completely different answer - can you PM me how you did it (I think I may have done it wrong xD)

Aw man...I wish I was online 20 minutes ago.
The digits of my answer added up is divisible by 7.

Yup that's what I got

This was too easy. I must've done something wrong.

mine isn't divisible by 7 evenly

. mine is divisible by 11 tho.

That's my feeling, too. :\ But my answer was also divisible by 7.

I got the divisable by 7 answer. I was WAY off on last week's LC. I wonder what I did wrong.

i found an error in my calculations but still ended up with an answer that is not divisible by 7. in fact, when all the digits are added together, my answer comes out to be a prime number.

Hrmph. I wonder what I did wrong (because knowing me, I'm the one with the wrong answer

).

I did mine munually, so there is probably a greater chance for error because i'm not using a formula.

Yippee! Got the physics one right!
Regarding this one - easy maths for me - both the number itself as well as its digits added up are multiples of 7.
Unfortunately another 5 hrs before I reach home!
Last but not least, Congrats endeavourl - I dont think I will reach that ever in my neo life.

I attempted to do this one by hand. The sum of the digits of my answer is divisible by 7. I'm hoping I'm right. It's been a long time since I was last able to correctly solve an LC.
