Why won't games work for me?

Hi! Ever since I switched internet providers to Yahoo I have not been able to play games. I don't know what the problem is and I would like to find a way to fix it. When I click the play game button another page pops up like it should but it either stays black for ever (I waited for a half hour once) or trys to load and never loads the estamated time just gets higher and higher. So please let me know if you know any way to fix this. I'm willing to try anything. Because I'm low on nps.

All games or just certain ones ?

From all the games that I have tried so far only 1 has worked which was the old meerca chase.

Sounds like the games are tempermental and discriminatory.

Do you have the latest versions of both Flash and Shockwave? I'd check at the macromedia site to be sure.
Once you know you have those, I guess clear your internet - cookies, temporary internet including offline and history.

Ok thanks! I will go and see if I have the latest and if not I'll get it and hopefully it works. I'll post if it works or not. :-)

Ok so I said I would post if it worked or not and I am sad to report that it didn't work. I updated to the latest shock and flash. But still no luck which is weird because it worked fine when I had Aol. But whatever. Hey does anyone know what Firefox is? Because I met someone on the Neopets boards who had the same problem and they said Firefox fixed it. So if anyone knows the link and what it is please let me know Thanks!
