Silly newbie question about the Trading Post...

I apologize if this is a ridiculously simple question, but at least it's short:

If you bid a bunch of NPs for something at the Trading Post, do you have to have that amount out of the bank and in your hands when the trade ends, or does it automagically get debited from your bank account?

When you make a bid, you must bid an item. The item is then reserved so you can't do anything with it.

If you want to add money, the money must be out of the bank and in your hand. When you make the bid, the moeny is taken out of your hand, and you will not get it back unless your bid is turned down.
