You need to train more. Try to get both strength and defense to at least 85 boosts and get your hp up. 74 just isn't going to be enough. Those guys are really tough. It took me, I think 4 times before I defeated them.

Also, lose the sticky hand and put a weapon, muffin or thick smoke bomb in it's place. You won't get anything worth stealing from the meercas.

You've been labbing for a long time :). Trash the Fire Snow and get a good offensive weapon, even one you might have to save up awhile for. May I suggest Halo of Devilpuss?

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping to buy a Halo of Devilpuss from the Trading Post.
Yes I have been labbing a long time and don't seem to be able to increase my defence. Can't even train for it because it wants me to up my level first. I have been back to level 1 for numerous times.
Today my skeith has turned into a corbat... shame I enjoyed feeding my skeith all the useless items which I caught fishing.
Are there any good corbat weapons?

None that I can think of. There are several ways to increase your level, but unfortunately, you'll need to increase it to 167 (!) before you can start training. With those stats, though, you should be able to beat them. Do you have the Burrow and Sink abilities? They're a HUGE help.

I'll get you Meerca henchmen!! I swear!!

So close and yet so far,

Catomano was a meager 43 points everywhere when the LDP started. Now he is at :
L
Level 74
147 hit points
60 agility
113 strength
85 defense

Equipment:
Scarab Ring
Hand Painted Scarab
Scroll of Flame Strike
Tooth of Terask
Golden Geraptiku Talisman
Greater Healing Scroll
Ring of the Lost
(yes hehe)

Had a scroll of freeezing (which broke after 3 consecutives lost to Meerca henchmen) bye bye 67,000 NP

got sink, burrows and berserk abilities

best battle was when I had Meerca Henchmen down to15 when they froze me and finished me.
worst was when they went berserk and attacked for a 212 Hp that I did not have any.

I was so eager to win against them that I did not wait the 125 mark for strength which I believe could have make a difference into one of the battle.

Now it has happen twice to me that a scroll of freezing has broken within hours of its purchase. It is fragile randomly or does it suffer consecutive battle???

Any advice is welcome on improving my chances.

hmm, I beat them using this;

- Thick Smoke Bomb
- Lucky Robots Foot
- Honey Potion
- 4 water muffins (quite expensive for 1 use)
- scroll of freezing (or, even better, H4000 helmet)

1st move = Thick Smoke Bomb + scroll of freezing
2nd move = 2 water muffins + fierce attack
3rd move = 2 water muffins + sink or burrow
4th move (if not beaten) = lucky robots foot + honey potion

It worked 2nd time for me ;)

You have beaten Meerca Henchmen!
You have won this fight!

Level : 120

Health : 227 / 227
Strength : LEGENDARY (110)
Defence : EXCELLENT (59)

Turn 1 = Ring of the Lost, Scroll of Freezing (if it didn't freeze, I withdrew), Drain Life
Turn 2 = Ring of the Lost, Scarab Ring, Beserk
Turn 3 = Ring of the Lost, Leaf Shield, Sink
Turn 4 = Ring of the Lost, Leaf Shield, Burrow

and I still had 110hp left. But I took a Lucky Robots Foot in the battle just in case.

Only took my 29 attempts to beat them

I just beat them with the following:

85 strength boost (which made the difference)

Thick Smoke Bomb
Scroll of Freezing
Fruit Bomb
Sinsis Sword
Snow Mudball
Scarab Ring
Greater Healing Scroll
Downsize!

I used the Thick Smoke Bomb and the Scroll of Freezing on the first turn (luckily it didn't break), along with Drain Life. On the second, I used the Fruit Bomb and Snow Mudball with fierce attack. After that, I used Sinsis Sword and Scarab Ring twice, first with Burrow then with Sink. That was enough to finish them off. That's the last DoN trophy I'll ever get.

i have SoA and RsB, with a scroll of freezing and all those useful abilities, and a leaf shield. but every single attempt i make i lose on turn one...

i only have 100 health. maybe thats the problem. but i have the 85 boosts for str and def...

It was a struggle for me with 227HP, so I'd say you need to boost your health a lot before attempting them

I did it with comparable stats to yours. The trick of it is, you need to use a Thick Smoke Bomb with your Scroll of Freezing on the first turn. It's the throwaway equivalent of a TT + H4K on the first turn. You should also use a species ability. On your second turn, use a couple of snowballs or battle muffins (be sure to check IDB and get the best ones) along with a fierce attack. Third turn, start your regular battling. They won't have too much HP left, but use Burrow along with SoA and RSB and it should finish them off. If it doesn't, do the same thing next turn, but use a Greater Healing Scroll and/orSink if you need to.
