Who is Cats?

In the Faerie Crossword, sometimes there was that question about Cats and he was the ruler of all the pets, or all the pets belonged to him... or something. I don't remember. I haven't done the crossword in so long, it may not even be apart of it anymore.

I don't see anything in the pedia about him. I have always been curious, but never thought to ask around.

I don't know who he was, but I remember there was once a shopkeeper called Cats which was an image of a kougra face but half of it was like a machine or something.

Combining the info you gave me I imagine it was a cool looking shopkeeper, and TNT played around with the phrase "All your base are belong to us" and Voila, they got that clue.

But I still dunno who he is.

CATS is the dude who says "All your base are belong to us" in Zero Wing (as well as a kougra shopkeeper on neo, heh) ^^ You can find out more from good old wiki

And if you can watch the video, or one of the many videos. It just never gets old somehow.

Cats is a one of the shopkeepers you can have in your own shop, aside from that I don't think he has anything else on Neopets/is important.

He's based on the guy from "All Your Base" (Zero Wing) who said "All your base are belong to us.". (I think his name was Katz)

Wow, that connection never occured to me. Man, I'm slow (although I always had this lingering "Why does that look and sound so familiar?" thought when I looked at it) Then again I was never into the whole All Your Base revolution other than as a funny thing to quote for about a week in like 5th grade. The "Somebody set up us the bomb" was the funniest line in the whole thing.

ahh ok. I do remember that shopkeeper image.

I have never heard of Zero Wing but I have seen people use "All your base are belong to us" a zillion times lol.
