just an fyi,
i posted this on the boards:

i just tried to pound a pet and it didn't work.

i was using opera, so i switched to firefox and it still didn't work, neither did it work in i.e.

the error message i got on opera indicated that it might be server-side, so i'm wondering if any of you are having similar issues? on ie it was a simple page cannot be displayed.

ideas??

and heard back that there have been issues for quite a few other folks trying to pound. there's also this thread in the av chat.

It wouldn't let me send my pet to the pound today either.

Same trouble. I'm stuck with an accidental pound pet that's making my account look quite unfit.

Just be patient while its fixed everyone.
Or, just change the color/species of your pet.

I believe it's fixed now. At first it was trying to contact something like dev.neopets.com-- and now it's returned to the usual "petpages.neopets.com" when you go to disown.
