Zapping Petpets, and Petpetpets

If you zap a Petpet, and it has a Petpetpet, will the Petpetpet remain? It would help solve my problem here

as far as I know, yes. if you zap your petpet, it's petpetpet will stay with the petpet unless you remove the petpet from the pet.

Thanks! I guess there's always a chance that the Petpet will disappear when I put in under the Ray, but if I remove it to attach a Plushie Petpet, I lose the Petpetpet for sure - so I might as well try, no?

If your petpet disappears (which the petpet lab ray has done to me one too many times), then the petpetpet will also disappear.
