Ghosts of Christmas' Past?

I very rarely get random events, even the "golden pteri" and "badge chia" ones. But in the last 4 days I've gotten 18 (I started counting after 3, it was weird) instances of ghosts stealing from me... has anyone else had this happen increasingly? I was just curious if it was a full neopia thing, kind of a "take-from-the...not-really-rich-person-and-give-to-the-tree" thing?
Edit: I just got growled at by the Ghost Lupe twice in the last 30 minutes as well.
Maybe my neopets account is haunted?

Yes! It's been happening to me too but I haven't been keeping track of how many times. I thought I was just having bad luck.

That's weird o___O All I've been getting is Adee the Chia events for the past few days and most of what I've been doing is playing NQII. Maybe my account doesn't believe in the supernatural. XD

The ghosts haven't been stealing from me more than usual, but I had 4 Faerie Quests yesterday! It was really weird -- I would give one faerie her lost item, and almost immediately get another quest! Strange...

I don't know how much of a Scrooge the rest of you have been to get a horde of ghost, but today was the first time in months I got a visit from the Swamp Ghoul, let alone any ghosts of any sort. I guess I'm just less of a Scrooge than the rest of you who are getting visits from all the ghosts
