How long was the longest break you’ve taken from Neopets?

I’m coming back from a 2 year break and I’m wondering if anyone’s been out of the game longer and returned. So, how long were you away?

Less than a year, I believe.

I believe, though I can not pinpoint exact times, I have taken two 1.5+ breaks from Neopets.
I am currently active
(I've been with Neopets for 45 months, so my breaks are understandable )

I originally signed up in Jan 2001 through some other site's promotion with no intent of playing since it seemed confusing. 6 months later I decided to check back on it and got addicted. Played frequently until this past January when I took another 6 month break. Currently back and still addicted.

The only times I 'stop' playing is when on vacation and had no computer access. The longest was either around when I started playing and went home for Christmas for a week or just this past year when I spent a few days visiting family and Tut in August. Both times it pained me to be away from my pets

If you don't include the times when I've taken a "break" but still logged in briefly whenever I remembered to do my dailies then it would probably be a few weeks to a little over and month as the longest break.

The longest break I ever took from it was the two weeks when I went away to another country.

Just over 3 weeks has been my longest when I went on holiday, but other than that most breaks are a week to 2 weeks usually.

I've taken one break for around 4 months (stopped playing a bit after the 1st lost desert puzzle ended - the usurper one - and started again after the neopets version 2 plot ended) and another break for 3-4 months (came back from this one after the Gadgadsbogen puzzle ended). Seems like I'm good at missing plots when I take breaks. Anyways other than that I haven't taken any breaks much longer than a week or so.

Well, let's see... I've been on and off Neopets for about 2-4 years on different accounts, but on this one (the longest one I've kept) I started on September 11, 2004 and kept playing actively until around July or August, then started up again in November. I'm still active now.

I started playing over 5 1/2 years ago (still have that original account). I played off and on for the first year, then created a new account, transferred one pet, and abandoned the rest. A few months later, I stopped playing for a long time... two years, at least. I started back up in November 2004 and have taken a total of three months off since then.

I haven't really taken a break. That is I've never just stopped going to Neopets on purpose. Of course during vacations I can't get on Neopets for about two-three days at a time and last year I went to Florida and didn't have computer access for about a week. There have also been times when the computer has needed fixing which keeps me off the internet for a day or two.
