I couldn't wake him either.
I have conflicted feelings about getting eaten now though, the only pet that has a petpet has an Ona. ^_^

That's simple. Go to the snowager lots and lots and steal a Abomidadble (Sp?) Snowman from him, then equip it to your pets.
What time NST is he awake, anyway?

I think, judging by the time of the post, that he was awake around 5 hours ago, which is why he is not waking up now.
