Question about B-Day on Neopets

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find the answer in a search.

Are there same affects of the Neopets' birthday when it's your birthday? I can't remember from last year, but I was curious whether or not there were some of TNT b-day perks that carried over with the sidebar. I remember somewhere saying that events and RE's and stuff were effected by different sidebars.

On your birthday, you get the birthday sidebar, which increases your chances of getting a random event.

Other than that, there aren't any bonuses that I know of ...

'Course with my luck, I'll be out 100,000np by the end of the day because the only RE's I ever tend to get are the ghosts stealing invisible np and screaming kadoaties that I just know I can stand in order to save np (but is taken anyway).

Darn, was really hoping for that 5 play thing.

I just had my birthday. I had about 50ish RE's total (and I was on alot that day). Most of them were crap ... only 3 of them were any good. 1 codestone, and 2 faerie quests.

Was very unimpressed with the REs.
