Tips on getting RICH: Referral Program!

The Referral Program is an excellent way to get some, no, I mean A TON of Neopoints and stuff!

I'd say it's the best method to getting LOADS of cash! Neopian that is.

Nearly everybody who does the referral program gets frozen, why?
Well because they make up fake accounts and refer themselves and get rich.

My method is does not break any rules, and is a fair way to getting rich. Well faster then any other method to me!

1. The most important thing is to have some kind of connection to a large group of people, and in this situation, you would want a hell lot of them - The places I go to are most of the time at Forums, overly populated ones.

You can use Msn Messenger or whatever Instant Messenger you use with a lot of people on it, then you can simply change your title to a link or talk to each person individually, whatever you think is best. - I think this would be fastest, but I'm 15, and it would be embarrassing to tell my other friends I play neopets.

2. If you are posting in the Forums, the most important thing about the title is it has to catch other people's attention.

Make it BOLD, or Underlined.

I personnally use, "PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Which actually catches quite a lot of attention.

3. Ok, now that you've got their attention and are willing to read, you have to make the message clear and make them want to help you.

It is SOO IMPORTANT that you don't sound like a beggar and annoy/tease/swear/etc, because thats whats going to get you banned from that forum, or website.

There are numerous good ways to get them to click that link, or picture that directs them to 'www.neopets.com/refer.phtml?username=your_username'.

You could make the post blank with just a link which is not so effective.

Or you could act as if you have run this referral program for so long and like 200 people have already helped you - Hey! I would click the link!

There is no REALLY good way to get them to click that link but you'll know when you get there.

4. REMEMBER to remind them to activate the code after they sign-up.

5. AND LASTLY, DO NOT SPAM, SPAM, SPAM!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE THATS UNCOOl!

is that really a real letter? i think it isn't. because the user/s avatar isn't the TNT one, and the prizes appear as you reach them, and not all at once like the neomail.

but yeah, it is a good way to get stuff. except since everyone knows about neo, the only people that i come in contact with have either already had a account, or think it is stupid

They have red paintbrushes...just go to the shop wiz and type in red paint brush, and select identical to my phrase. They're like the oldest paint brushes...

Your image manipulation skills are the stuff of legend - not only is the time of the neomail out-of-line with the date, but half the date is in a serif font while the other half is sans-serif! Nice try, but back to school

Well, the avatar that the 'referralteam' account has is the default one. I strongly doubt you could get 70 referrals in ONE day. Also, if you look at the line separations, you can see things were edited in the image and it's not real.

Unfortunately referrals aren't really that easy to get - for example I'm a 22 year old student, exactly who do I know who would want to play neopets? :S And as for the forums I go on, well they're all neopets ones heh. Good for the people who do get hundreds of referrals, not so good for people like me who a) don't get many referrals, and b) prefer not to let people know their neopets account for reasons of paranoia ^^; I'd have better luck making money with the AG and with my art skills that is saying something!

I strongly doubt you could get 70 referrals in ONE day.

It didn't take me ONE day to get 70 referrals. It took me over a month to get up to 50.

I got about 23 referall, but the last one was about 2-3 years ago. I put a button up on MySpace for the heck of it to see if I get anymore.

EDIT: I got 1 extra referall, a two week old account, but my referall page says that it's nto activated yet :/
