Toolbar "Alert" oddity

Just a while ago, the toolbar said I had a new alert. I was curious, since I canceled premium a few months ago. But, the alert for today read "News Headline????" 
What do you think is up with that? Could it be hackers?

Why does everyone scream hackers whenever something happens. If it were "hackers", I think they would have done more than just "News Headline???". I did notice it, but now it seems to be gone. Who knows what Neopets is planning, they haven't done anything with it since releasing the new version of the Toolbar.
