* The final chapter in our Lost Desert Plot has just been released and it looks like Nabile may just save the day...

* Wasting no time at all, the Bakery has just finished baking four cakes to celebrate the return of Sakhmet.

* There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was the Caption Contest #304 picture. 502 people guessed the right answer, earning 3,985 NP each.

* For their heroic deeds to save Sakhmet both Nabile and Tomos have earned their places in the Gallery of Heroes.

* This week's Petpet Spotlight award has been given to a rather large Ettaphant called Quoxwood.

* We have a new sponsor game for you to try called VERB YELLOWBALL.

* A new version of Whack A Staff Member has just been released with three new players. It has also been translated into all available languages.

* The Faellie is the latest Petpet to grace the Sketched Backgrounds page.

* Buddy__blankies should be super happy today, their coconut inspired shop has just won this week's Gallery Spotlight award.

* Now that the Lost Desert is back in business, some new Colouring Pages have been added.

* Well done Lina_blade! You have just won the latest User Lookup of the Week with your Lost Desert inspired design.

* A new round of the Caption Contest has gone live. This picture features the reformed Jazan and some other characters from the Lost Desert plot. Can you think of something creative to say about it?

I really really like the way the Lost Desert looks now.
imo, all the areas should look like that.

(oh, and the plot was really bad. the main story was expected and not exciting, and the puzzle is getting really frustrating and exhausting in some point).

He's an Anthro-Furry wolf and some people are really into that. ~And since neopets runs on advertisements, they are catering to all sorts of audiences.

I don't think he ~did~ anything. Unless running away a lot counts as heroic nowadays.

That last chapter was one of the worse things I have ever read. Ok, maybe not that bad, but TNT really needs to learn how to do endings, most of the other plot's were rushed at the end also. And the fact that they spoiled what happens all over the news page didn't help.

Or maybe I'm just in a bitter mood today.

I agree, the ending to the plot was terrible. That stupid Ixi married someone due to pity. That's no way to start a lasting relationship. I feel sorry for Tomos. Shouldn't the curse be lifted (the zombies return to a normal state?) And where's the Fruit Machine, dammit?

On a lighter note, that Desert Gelert was cool. I hope they release it

The plot kinda sucked, especially the ending. Very weak.

The new Lost Desert map is nice, but I don't like flash maps because you can't open up the links in differant tabs or windows by just clicking. Why don't they make and HTML version?

Hey, his chick just dumped him to run off with some creepy undead dude with glowing red eyes. He deserves to get SOMETHING.

And word to all those who thought that the ending of the plot was sorely lacking. I wasn't buying the Jarzan/Nabile "love" matchup at all. Oh, and "Hey, wow, she looks like that picture of an old queen, that one hanging conveniently behind her! She must be royalty!" was really smooth, TNT.

KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE FLASH MAPS, TNT! I'm on broadband and still get the annoying loading screen every time I visit shops (which I've been avoiding by going to my inventory, then using the top bar for the different shop sections) and now the Lost Desert. I have my maps set as HTML, and I want to see them in HTML!

I'm usually not critical, but that was a very rushed ending. How can Nabile be truely *in love* with him if she doesn't even know him?

They shoulda had another chapter or two.
