Comfirmed: To Get The Avatar You Have To Get SOMETHING From The Hole

Yes, we'll most likely have to wait until midnight to know for sure.

I certainly hope it's not awarded when your petpet actually manages to retrieve something from the symol hole. Although I've heard of that happening, I've visited it practically every day since it was discovered and have yet to get anything at all from it. IMHO, that would not only be another hated random avie, but a hated rare random avie.

Here's hoping it's anything but that!

People are reporting on the Neoboards that they have the avatar, and they're using it. Seems most of them have gotten it when they've received something from the Mysterious Symol Hole

I have a symol, and he went into the hole today, but nothing happened.

BUT - it's a petpet lab zapped symol, it's really something else. The fungus cave saw my zapped krawk, but didn't accept it. "There's something not quite right with BaabyBabaa. Are you sure this is a Krawk?"

So maybe someone with a real Symol?

Did anyone else get a petpet turned to a symol today? I did, maybe to celebrate Symol day.

I have getting nps from the symol hole confirmed by a guild member as a way to get the avie.

Wow, Symol day, I can't believe I've officially tried 365 times to get something from that stupid hole. Well on the bright side, if it is getting something from the hole, my chance of getting something is higher since I have tried so many times and haven't gotten anything yet ?_? did that make sense lol.

Actually, statistically speaking (and unless TNT has some sort of program to see how many times a person visits) your chances of getting something on the next attempt are exactly the same as what they were on your first, second, third... three-hundred and sixty-fifth attempts.

How many times a day are we legally allowed to visit the symol hole?
I seem to recall some discussion of this when it was first released, and thought it was decided that it was a once daily. However, there is no limit on either of the pages, and it is possible to visit it more than once.
