At the same time I got that letter, my new Lenny disappeared, a few minutes after its creation (but not before I got the av for feeding it a spooky food, which of course was the reason I'd created it on my Spooky Team account in the first place).
The heinous name of the pet? PreviewAdsForContent.
I really don't think the "message" of the name is what got me into trouble. I had decided some time back that when I make Shoyrus, Lennies, and Kacheeks for the avs on accounts that have room, I might as well toss in a comment about the excessive ads, and I've never before had any problem as I kept the pet for the requisite week before delivering it to the pound. I forget most of the names, alas, but
TooManyAds the Kacheek is still there after more than seven months, and
GripingAboutBanners the Lenny not only still exists after more than five months, but has been adopted.
So if it wasn't the comment about making sure ads are acceptable
before allowing them onto Neopets, what was the problem? It's just my guess, mind you, but I think it was the
w from 'preview' combined with the next word,
Ads. In some contexts, "wad" or "wads" can have a sexual connotation. A human being, of course, would have read the Lenny's name as "preview ads for content," but a program checking recently created pets for forbidden patterns could certainly be set off by such an accidental juxtaposition.
(After all, my guild posts won't go through if I forget & make a reference to "Weaponnegg's hit points." Sigh.)
