Should I really buy this?

Lately I've really wanted to make a gelert or lupe, but I definately do not want to abandon a pet. I'd feel horrible about it. D: I was thinking of buying a Gelert/lupe morphing potion in a plain color and then morphing my uni (I don't really like him as a uni anymore), but it would just be weird for me. But I think I would get used to it and I would prefer my uni as a gelert or lupe instead. Should I save up 400-600k for a morphing potion or should I save up for the lab map and see what happens with it? I'm not very good at earning lots of Neopoints, right now I only have about 110k and I've been saving up for about a month now, which is pathetic compared to some people. I just don't want to buy these and regret it, so I thought I would get some opinions first.

If you have a specific pet goal in mind like a lupe or gelert I wouldn't recommend getting the lab to try and achieve the goal. The lab is just too unpredictable - one of my labs never changes species, another always changes species, but even then you may not get the species change you like.

If you just want to change from a uni and see what you get then the lab ray can be great fun as you could end up with a fantastic pet.

If you are set on getting a lupe or gelert then I would recommend looking at transmogrification potions. The gelert transmog isn't out yet (should be soon though) but the lupe one only costs about 170k which is a fair bit cheaper than the mps I think :)

You could also have a secondary account on which to keep more pets if you decide to keep the uni but still want a lupe/gelert. Good luck deciding!

In my opinion, the lab ray would be much more fun. It can do wonders for your pet. Training, species and colour changes. :P

But of course, if you want a specific species/colour pet, it would be best to get a potion and/or paint brush. :)

I wouldn't get a potion that transforms him into a mutant (I hate mutant pets) unless I knew I could buy a paint brush soon after so he wouldn't stay mutant for long. Although, they ARE cheaper, I would just have to save up about 250k for a paint brush also. I don't know, though, it would take a huge chunk out of my money. I was planning on just painting my uni brown.

I would make a second account, but my sister did and she said it's really hard to feed and take care of more than 4 pets. She asked me if she wanted her second account (it has lab ray access and everything, she is just using it to make pets so they could be adopted), and I said no but maybe I'll rethink it.

I have 4 accounts, with 12 pets on total, and I don't find it hard to take care of my pets. Really, I think that, in this case, it seems sensible to transfer your Uni to a side account. You just need to log on every so often, and either put your pets in the Neolodge or take them to the Soup Kitchen. Then have a few toys for your pet to play with, and you're set!

I log onto one of my sides daily for lab access, and at most, I spend 5 minutes on there. You can choose to spend more, but the process of looking after pets isn't really that long.

That's exactly what I'm doing now. XD Last night I transfered my uni safely onto my sister's side account. Yay!
