* Happy Techo Day everybody! To start things off, make sure you take your Techo to see Captain Threelegs so they can take advantage of all the Free Training he is offering.

* You can now turn your Techo into Checkered and Strawberry versions at the Rainbow Pool.

I just did mine on the Quadruple Cheese Thingy and got it first time.

You need to be under 60 seconds.

Colours were a little dull, I'm sure they could have many some jazzy royals out of the Techo, though, admittedly, the girl may look a little strange, I'm sure they could sort something out.

Aha! Many others are having the problem.
Random, I hear, under a minute.

Some people are getting it, others aren't, so therefore I conclude a randomness involved.

I got mine the first time with spicy juppie and diving left, came in under 60 seconds.

I'm really disappointed with Techo Day, techos are one of my favourite pets and not only is the avatar extrememly uninspiring there are no new non-book/bd items released. Plus the new colours, while nice, are just plain old colourfills.

True I was really hoping for desert or royal though, I thought desert might be quite likely with the plot. And I would love to see them tackle a faerie techo Other pets have had new colours come out in the week after their day though so I'll keep my fingers crossed just in case =)
