is it only the first 15-20 approx. people that get trophies in games? I got the same score as the entire top 100. what makes those top people so special that they get a trophy!

The list is randomly distributed when people score the same. It could have been you in that trophy list, it's just bad luck that it wasn't.

hmmm doesn't really seem fair to me!
If 1250 is the score the gold trophy goes to then all players with that score should get the trophy.
EDIT: I take it all back! it took a couple of days but I got the trophy in my lookup. I'm not at the top of the list but hey....
