The answer was Taelia

How did you find the solution? User lookup shields!

*headdesk*

I failed to realize there was a 1 week shield.

-prize neomail removed-

Thats all fine and dandy, but I ain't got no poster. I got the np, yes, but not a poster.

JasEdit: Only one post may contain the prize neomail per thread. Thank you. :)

:/

i got the same neomail and no poster either :(

send a bug report quoting the neomail from tnt

Thu Sep 01, 2005 4:23 pm

Yeah, just heading over to send one in. Same thing with me, neomail, no poster.

Thu Sep 01, 2005 5:46 pm

I has the same problem - neomail, neopoints, but no poster. Already sent a bug report. Has anyone gotten the item?

Thu Sep 01, 2005 10:29 pm

I didn't even realize I hadn't gotten the prize!

Thu Sep 01, 2005 10:59 pm

*smacks forehead

Oh my, no poster here either. Has this ever happened before? I usually receive the prize when the neomail is sent from tnt.

Gah totally gave up on this one. I think i'll stick to the simple ones with low payout most times but still fun.

I did get the poster. So they did hand out at least some posters. The neomail usually tells you whether or not you were fast enough to get the prize as well as the NPs.

New one is out:

With all of these ancient scrolls being discovered around the Lost Desert, the city of Sakhmet needs to build a place to store them all and keep them safe! It has been determined by city engineers and architects that a huge stone pyramid, painted gold, would be a fitting storehouse for such treasures of knowledge!

The base of the pyramid is 100 blocks by 100 blocks; each successive layer is one less block wide and deep, until the top layer which is simply one block. Each block is 97 cm wide by 97 cm deep by 63 cm tall.

If one liter of paint can coat exactly three square meters, how many liters are required to coat the entire exposed surface of the pyramid? Round up to the nearest liter.

Edit: I have an answer with 4 digits. Not sure if I am right, though. :)

My answer is 4 digits too. I'm not sure if it's right though... Although I'm pretty sure my method works, it would've been pretty easy for me to mess up.

I probably would figure this out half way through the school year, the summer made my head dead with formulas and such. It looks easy enough though, and the prize is really whats great.
