i can't open neopet?????!!!

when i go to http://www.neopets.com. My computer will flash out "The page cannot be displayed" webpage. But i could surf other websites perfectly. Just neopets.com is something wrong. Is it something wrong wif my internet or neopets.com is undergoing some technical service or is neopets.com blocked me?????

Perhaps your parents blocked you from neopets. Some firewalls have parental controls that block game sites.

Sounds like a server failure on your side. Unless your parents blocked it but it doesn't sound like it. Maybe take a little break and then come back later and if it still is down I'd suggest talking to your parents.

But my parents are not using my internet. Period. and this issue have been happening for the past two days. So can someone teach me how to solve this problem coz other websites are working fine.

Something similar happened to me and as I AM the parent I certainly wouldn't block myself! What I had to do was clear all temp files & cookies from my 'puter (go to tools, then internet options, then delete cookies & Files) and then I searched for neo under google. When I had the correct link, I went there and then shortcutted it to my favorites.
Once my shortcut was taking me to a foreign website even though I checked everything I could find and it all pointed to NP. - THAT was a weird one!! But I had to go though the above steps again to fix it!
That seemed to clear it up for me.... hope it works for you too!

persc, Neo's been doing that to me for about the last week and a half. I'll be going along just fine and suddenly when going to open a new page or refresh a page get that "Cannot Be Displayed" message.
And I do clear my Internet cache, etc. every night. Neo is also in my allowed sites in my firewall settings. Plus I know some other people have been having this problem, so it may not be your computer. But clearing everything out using Internet Tools and also your System Cleanup is a kind thing to do for your computer's well being (and speed!).
pengo, your shortcut was taking you to a foreign site? Geez, that almost sounds like a hijacker (bad spyware). Next time you use your internet tools, take a look at the homepage shown there - make sure it's the one you've set. Plus, there are alot! of scam sites associated with Neo unfortunately. People are just amazingly greedy sometimes.

I hope this is an apropriate place to put this. I used to use a firewall, a free one that was very high rated, but I forget the name. Anyway, after using the firewall, neopets wouldn't work. Even after I uninstalled the firewall. It would only work if I restored my system entirely, you know, complete and utter restoration! (Windows ME ought to be ashamed) !!!ouch!!!. I even put neopets on the allowed sites. I really would like to use that firewall again but it looks like I can't have my cake and eat it too. LoL
