It was still mostly completely random I think ...a lot of people just got game tips, haven't heard about anyone getting a job coupon or anything at least. And yep, the 11th is over anyway, so it doesn't really matter anymore.

I don't know why they bother putting up stuff like that when the news doesn't come out until the day is virtually over. Yeah random times for competitions and limited edition stuff that is a good idea give everyone a fair chance. But this idea of having special days when the news only goes out at the end of the day?
