Lenny Conundrum #129

Thu Aug 11, 2005 7:00 pm

Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 128). You have won 1098 NP and been awarded a Wocky Hide and Seek Book!

Answer: H4.

Each of the number/letter combinations referred to dates on the Neopian Calendar. They were all 5 weeks apart.

Many people thought the letter would be an S.

In the first round of Snow Wars II, the Grundos surrounded their snowman with 75 ice blocks.

During the attack stage, assume every enemy catapult can fire 2 shots per round, and each shot is aimed at a unique ice block.

During the rebuild stage (i.e. the beginning of round 2), the Grundos are able to add an additional 45 ice blocks to their wall.

Assuming that the Grundos never fire their catapults at the enemies, in what round will the Grundos have no ice blocks at the end of the attack stage?

yes but what are the rules to the game. how many enemies are in each round?

Thu Aug 11, 2005 11:47 pm

First round should have two...oh man I gotta find a guide or play the game and see.

Edit: Okay, the number of catapults on each round I think I've got, but it's just an assumption. I'm wondering - does that mean the Grundos can rebuild 45 each round, passing 75 ice blocks? Or does it mean it can only rebuild back to 75 ice blocks, and the most they can rebuild is 45 (so 30 blocks)??

I am confusing myself.

I believe it means they can build past 75. As for the catapult pattern, be careful. It caught me.

OK that means I am probably wrong on the catapults.

Edit: Oh wait I'm starting to understand something here. Missed a little detail in the question.

Looks like it would help if you've played this game before. :)

Off to play to see what I can figure out.

Anyone here I can confirm with? My answer seems to be right to me, but the person I checked with says no. But I can't just trust her...she COULD be tipping people off.

Fri Aug 12, 2005 12:47 am

you can confirm with me

Well, I've come up with an answer ... not 100% sure about the catapult structure, either. I'll go with it, though.

Fri Aug 12, 2005 2:32 am

I think I have it too, but I'd need someone to confirm the catapult progression....

You guys can confirm with me if you'd like. I submitted the wrong answer but I redid it, and I'm 95% sure my new answer is correct.
