I noted this on the maraquan sidebar thread.
Also under link to us there is a big space.
I think this is only on firefox.

I was wondering why I couldn't see the time without scrolling down...

I saw that too. It is nice to know that I'm not the only one, and that I'm not going insane

I just checked in IE, and it's still like that.

Eh, it's like that for me on Netscape. *growls* If it's to make room for an ad I think I'll go Godzilla and step on the Neopets Headquarters.

The empty space I have is just about half as large as the one shown in the second screenie. And thus, not large enough for another ad. Hm. O_o

Yes, the spaces are different sizes in Mozilla/Netscape and IE
Mozilla on left, IE on right

I use IE and it is there. *Hugs adblocker* I won't get the new ads, hey - who knows? Maybe it is a space for maraquan war prize central to save a space on neo servers or to switch the sidebar theme. o-0 Let's not jump to conclusions.

I've been waiting for 2 days to see if anybody else mentioned the space under the Logout area. Glad to see that it's not just happening to me. I was online when the Maraquan sidebar was automatically changed back to the default yellow one. The new space was noticeable right away...
Btw, I use Netscape, which is really a Mozilla engine.

Yea I think the gap is there to fit in with new Sidebars where they add in nice little pictures that change whenever you refresh
