Clothes on pets!

Ok, this is going to sound really off, but wouldn't it be cool if we could dress our pets in the clothes that exist in Neopia?!

Wait, wait, hear me out!

It might be possible for TNT to make pet templates where all the hats appear on the pet the same way, but the "paint" of the hat is different. As with shirts, scarfs, glasses, etc. That way we could dress up our pets with all those clothes in our SDB's!

Of course, they would only appear like that on the pet lookup and the quick ref page. I wouldn't expect clothed battle poses!

What do you guys think?

Cool idea but I think TNT tried to do this earlier but failed... or they still haven't finished

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure this has been suggested before and vetoed by TNT. It'd take a huge amount of work on their part.

They'd have do redraw every pet in every color with every single different item combination . It takes them forever to finish a single species revamp. It ain't going to happen, not that it sounds any more interesting than watching a pet rock sleep.

Well, like in NQ2, all they did was take the base image and put some clothes on the template.

However, I don't think this would work. :S

I think the pets look cuter, just plain how they are. But this would really help people for the Beauty Contests ! So I have mixed feelings...

Yeah, I'm talking a template. They wouldn't have to draw every combination, just put invisible hats, shirts, scarfs, and sweaters on them. Then when "equipped" the invisible hats would be, say, the ixi hat.

If TNT is going to have clothes, and a clothing store, then our pets should be able to wear clothes. If you think about it, it's pretty pointless to have clothes and a clothing store if your pet(s) can't even wear them.

True about that too. School Supplies are completely useless to us or our pets. The only thing we can do with them is a make a gallery or sell them for money. I still have all my pets backpacks and they haven't even been used yet.

Ok, here's something to give you guys an idea of what I'm talking about.

Yeah, my skills are horrible.

The first is the Zafara with the invisible hat, invisible scarf, and invisible.

The second was equiped with the black flotsam hat and the black aisha shirt, but still has the invisible scarf.

The third is equiped with the green jubjub hat and the green wocky shirt, and also still has the invisible scarf.

See how they haven't changed except for the "paints" of the hats and shirts?
