NeoQuest II Glitch

[Adam loves Hilary Duff]

I was just fighting a Raging Bearog in NeoQuest II and I beat them.
And you usually find healing potions after battles.
I found a tempered iron shortsword.
Swords and other weapons can only be found in boss battles....
What in the world happened?
