Erm ... time?

Wed May 18, 2005 8:03 am

Either it's me or the clock on the yellow menu is suddenly one hour faster. I usually come home at 4:00pm amd it's 12:00am NST, but right now it says 16:02 on my computer clock and the one on Neo says it's one o'clock ... O.O

It is 1:21 right now, to be exact... and I'm not even looking at Neopets time, but my own clock... unless its gone funky, too, then I don't know what to say. o_o

Yes, I live in NST... or PST... or whatever...

EDIT: 1:21 AM. I stand corrected by the timesheet. *Nod*

Really? O.o Then either my computer clock is the one that's wrong, or I am exceedingly stupid.

The neo clock is always 8 hours behind my computer clock. My computer clock says 10:28 and the neo one says 02:28, so it's fine for me.

It's fine for me too, it says 2:30am when mine says 12:30pm.

Daylight savings time, folks. The united states turns it's clocks forward an hour during the summer. We changed our clocks on April 3rd, I guess you just didn't notice the hour difference until now (or else Neopets forgot to change it until now, I wouldn't know, I don't pay attention).
Even though not all of the world observes daylight savings time, and not all at the same time (especially the differences with the north and south hemispheres, in spring when we turn our clocks forwad, it's autumn there, so they're turning their clocks back, making a two hour difference) Neopets still observes it and adjusts their clock accordingly.

I remember once I had two Neopets pages open at once, and they each had different times--I'm pretty sure that was because the computer was running so slow. They were put back in synch when I refreshed.

If you go to a page and backspace, it'll show what time it was on that page.

Ex: You're at the games and it's 12:55 PM NST. You go to play a game, and when you're done you press the back button on your browser to go back to the game room. It will still show that it's 12:55 PM NST until you refresh.
