11th May
* Today's random theme is... Clay. That's right today everything has a rather brown and squishy feel to it.
* If you are having trouble getting hold of the real thing, why not treat yourself to an inexpensive Clay Dubloon?
* This week's Petpet Spotlight awar has been given to a Feepit called Purrit.
* We have a new sponsor game based on the Racing Stripes DVD that is on sale shortly. Click here to give it a try.
* The Toy Shop has some clay sculpture sets for your Neopet to play with.
* _s_n_a_k_e_ is the proud owner of a Meridell Castle Spotlight trophy thanks to their level - Keep Moving! o:.
* With Summer coming up, you may want to get hold of your very own Neopets beach towel. These are now on sale at participating Wal*Mart locations.
* While it may not be a delicious as some of the other flavours, this Clay Omelette is certainly unusual...
* There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was the Fishing Techo Background. 310 people guessed the correct answer, earning themselves 6,452 NP each.
* Kikos and JubJubs can now be turned into these rather odd Clay versions of themselves.
* There is even a clay avatar for you to unlock.
* If you get hold of a Clay Petpet Paint Brush, you can now paint your Warf, Buzzer, Angelpuss, Snorkle and Flizzardo.
* If you are a pottery fan, you should head to neo_napalm's Gallery Spotlight award winning shop - The Nile Gallery of Lost Desert Pottery to look at all the goodies they have on display.
* There are lots of pictures of Clay things that Neopets players have created on display in the Art Gallery.
* Can you think of something interesting to say for this seemingly innocent picnic scene? If so you could win a shiny Caption Contest trophy.
* Newcomers to the Battledome may be interested in these inexpensive Clay weapons. Ok, they may not look as snazzy as some of the more advanced things, but they are excellent if you are just starting out.
* Last but not least, congratulations Cog_319. You have just won this week's User Lookup of the Week award.
Clay doesn't seem that much different then dung the way I see it.

Besides the fact that seeing the clay items doesn't make me sick to my stomach.
I'd like to rs one of those dubloons... they're cute.

Heh, I'm gonna try too. The news has only just gone up, so maybe not everyone is after them yet

Neopets beach towel...well that's interesting. (Wonder how much it'll cost though. -.-)
And I still don't see what is so great about clay that makes it have its own p/b and special day. Maybe TNT has run out of ideas?

Towels? O_o
Well, I guess we should have expected it sometime soon.
Personally, I like the Clay pets. Dung pets are very different, such as they aren't as smooth, and are a different shade of brown, more of a brownish-grey type thing. Clay pets are very smooth, and cute, in my opinion.
I do believe this color has a lot of potential.

I hope not. If so, they can come over here.
I still love that Sparkle Paint Brush idea.

Never mind towels. the most disturbing thing is... Wal-Mart?
That's the equivalent of selling your soul and your mother without haggling.
I can't imagine what they will do to tie wuth the upcoming movie...

Actually, they've had a deal with Wal-Mart for quiete some time now.
Wal-Mart sells many of the Neopets products.
*grumbles about how is a collector supposed to collect plushies if unannouced ones are released at Wal-Mart and no one says anything
*
I think the beach towel is kind of cute.
We might need six of them. lol

Hey, Wal-Mart is the poor man's version of heaven. If Wal-Mart had a produce section, we'd do ALL our shopping there.
I'm peeved at the Userlookup Spotlight this week. The sidebar doesn't work. Why would they pick a lookup with a broken sidebar?

Actually, Super Wal-Marts are also grocery stores.

Yep.
Ours is. That's where we do all our late night grocery shopping because it's 24 hours.
What I don't understand is why there is a Clay Day, but there isn't any new pottery released. O.o

Actually, I knew that.
The city where I lived before I moved here had a Super Wal-Mart. Unfortunately the branch where I live now hasn't upgraded yet.

Or do you like them because it has the first name of your favourite singer? Would you like Dung pets if they're called Erif pets?

AMEN, AMEN, ERIN!

Hmmm. Clay pets. I'll have to go see what that looks like.
Walmart, eh? Pure evil. I boycott 'em myself.
