Hello everyone, good to see PPT back up, I was only a lurker, but it's weird how much I missed lurking
Anyway, I managed to get a Hissi and was clicking the random name generator and it gave me the name "Braemis236" or a number close to that. I decided I didn't want the number so I modified the name to "Braemisse" and all was well.
Except I received a warning for creating a pet with inappropriate content.
Can anyone see what's wrong with this? I want to email TNT about this to see if I can get my Hissi back if possible.
The weird thing is I have a pet called Lifebirthblooddoom which escaped fine and which I would have thought is a much more risky name.
And to complicate matters further, because my computer at home is having difficulties accessing the Internet I was on my friends computer when I created the pet? Is this a problem?
Sorry for the long post, I'm just really confused as to what I should do here.

I guess it's cause you created a name which contains the word 'bra'.
....
Is anybody on the planet offended by that word? Seriously? It's about as offensive as 'pants', and they're not averse to using that word, are they?

But that part of the name was suggested by them. So do they censor their own suggestions then?

The randomiser just lists random letters and numbers, I guess.

They do not. They also do not allow some of thier own content in names. I created a Jetsam called wiht the word Cheat in it (the name is now used on a different pet) and it was not allowed. I wasn't able to get another Jetsam either

Yeah you gotta be real careful. I don't think everything is all connected so the randomizer can sometimes come up with more questionable names that are agaisn't the rules.

Neo went a bit overboard on that name. The word "bra" is in "Brahms" for criminy's sake. And in the word "brass" and a somewhat common man's name "Brad." And, I have even used it as a word on Word Poker and it actually went through (unlike the word "prick" which can be viewed as sexual but then again can be totally non-sexual--as in "pin prick.")
Yet, I see a user with the name "Inthebutt" romping around the site. Yikes! They need to use some Windex on those filters. Because obvious sexual names are getting through, while harmless ones are not.

And on top of that, there are screenames roaming that you can't post on the boards. Had a friend with a username of "sexy_lil_brat_[random numbers here]". Try posting that name on the neoboards. Pft.

the filters can sometimes make you crazy. I also can't understand some of these usernames and pet names that go unnoticed, yet there's no way you could ever post the names ... it's happened when I've tried giving someone shop names for a quest.
And I know someone who was frozen for typing the word bikini -- there was a short discussion about Spongebob Squarepants and the person just typed where he lived!

Hahaha! "Bra"
What is offending about that? Nowadays, these topics about S__ and more are so open. People say it like normal.
Anyway, gd luck in getting your Hissi back.

Ooh wow, bra. Offensive.
Especially since I saw someone asking about.. natural girl things on the neoboards and the thread didn't get closed or deleted or anything until it died and dropped off the 4th page after getting millions of pages.
And so far nobody who posted there got a warning.
Yet you got a warning from that?

I don't know if there's any point in complaining any more. If it is that and it did trigger the censor, then I doubt I'm going to get it back.
But yeah, if it was triggered because of a 'bra' combination of letters they really need to look at their censor machine again.

Actually, when my little brother first made his account, Shadowassassin(edited for security), he was frozen as well and it was less than a day after he bought his first lab set. However, after about a week, they got back to him and unfroze the account.
These situations are similar, and Im sure an reasonable support staff would see what you had meant.

Oh, wow! BRA! XD
I created a pet named peni298NEONEO, peni298neo was taken, so I switched it around. I ended up having to call her Pennie (in like neomails and stuffeh) because of "peni". Randomizer. I don't use that thing anymore. I come up with tons of cool names with my brain, like my newest pet, Danavian!
TAKE THAT, NEO! lol
