You are all missing the point. Yes, I agree the artwork is generally better. But people who spent millions -- many millions -- just got totally hosed.
When you go to upgrade your shop, TNT says
Remember, the bigger your shop gets, the higher it appears on the list, and the more likely people are to visit it!
Well, that isn't true any more. Look at the map now. The top 20 shops are on the bottom right hand corner. They used to be in the top. The old map basically had shops in order by size starting at the top right and going downward row by row. So they larger your shop the higher on the page (and if the page is slow to load those shopes would load first). And people
paid millions for that privilege. Why? TNT told them to on the shop upgrade page.
Now look at it. The top 20 shows are on bottom but at least are large huts. Look at shops sized 20 to 30. It costs, BTW, roughly 112 million to get a shop that size!!! They are on the bottom left. The "link" to those shops is the pile of watermelons and the Yurble. They don't even get huts!
Then look at shops 30 to 40. That hut is very faint and is in the top left corner of the map as far as possible from the top 30 shops.
Then look at the left side of the map. (BTW, sales are typically *lower* for those shops on the left side of the map than they are for shops on the right side). There you find the shops up to shops 300 (note the two huts that are behind the bridge!
On the right side of the map you now have the smaller marketplace shops. Note that even there they are not in order. For instance, hear what looks like a fir tree you have a blue splotch (a pond maybe?) that is shops 500 to 510. To the right is 510 to 520. Fine. To the right of that hut is Shops 490 to 500 and to the right of that 470 to 480. Does this make any sense at all. The largest hut in that section by the way is for shops 530 to 540 which are the least expensive shops in the entire marketplace.
Now how on earth does this make any sense? My shop is in one of the huts on the right side. It is an infinitely preferable spot to that of someone with a shop ranked 30 to 40!
In short, the arrangement of the shops is haphazard and gives no advantages whatsover to those who upgraded their shop to larger sizes in oder to get better position (which is what TNT told them to do).
As for me, this really doesn't hurt me. I have a relatively small marketplace shop so I don't deserve a particular stellar placement. But this is incredibly unfair to those who did spend millions to upgrade their shops.
