Pinata avatar!

People on the neoboards are claiming you have to play with a pinata until it bursts, but no one has proved that yet. I haven't seen anyone with the avatar.

ETA: I tried feeding something with "candy" in the name to my pet, and that didn't work.

I'm assuming you have to bust a piniata. That would make the most sense I reckon. Of course, only the die hard collectors would destroy a piniata now.

Well, as far as pinatas go, I imagine the same, gonna have to buy and bust one up. Maybe feed a pet the candy inside, but busting it seems to be where the avatar is at this point....

Luckily, they have low rarity...so I assume prices will drop in a while. I'll wait since I'll have to get that uber-cute Vira pinata for gallery anyhow. Not much sense spending big $$$ on it right now to me.

The Toy Shop has some pinatas for you to play with. If your Neopet hits them hard enough, the pinata may explode and shower them with sweets!

Although these do not burst open, they still look pretty cool!

This is gonna cause confusion. Some can be broken open (toys) and some cannot (furniture)!!

Me too. I have never in my time in Neopia actually received the Pant Devil RE, I only have him as a challenger because they put him at the Money Tree one day for people to get him as a challenger.

Actually, a user named kodori has the avatar. She's confirmed that you have to buy one of the pinatas (the ones from the Toy shop, not the Furniture shop) and break it open.

Dr Sloth pinatas will not work. Unfortunately (as I look in my SDB filled with them), they are furniture.

However, it appears that many people do not know that yet--because the price for one is now around 300 nps.
